An Empress wearing black leggings, knee-length skirt, and boots stands waiting at the bus stop. Between her feet, an snail rests on the ground — completely unnoticed and entirely at the mercy of her movements. As she casually shifts her foot while waiting, her boot comes down directly on it. The snail is instantly crushed beneath her sole, spreading into a wet smear between her feet. She doesn’t notice it at all. While continuing to stand there, she absentmindedly moves her feet again and again, unknowingly pressing down on the spot several more times. Each movement grinds it further into the pavement. By the end, nothing recognizable remains — only a watery, flattened smear on the ground, while the Empress continues waiting for the bus, completely unaware of what happened beneath her feet.
